Privacy Policy

Terracalla General Privacy Statement

Your privacy is important to us. All personal information collected through this website is respectfully confidential. We will never disclose or distribute your personal information to any 3rd party. Your contact information will only be used to communicate with you and to provide services that you request.

This privacy policy covers the use of the web site located at http://www.terracalla.com and the services provided by Terracalla ("Terracalla"), including how Terracalla treats personal information that Terracalla collects and receives. Pursuant to Terracalla's Terms of Use, you must be 18 years and older to use this site or have permission from a legal guardian. Therefore, this policy makes no provision for individuals under 18 years old. This policy does not apply to the practices of third parties that Terracalla does not own or control, or individuals that Terracalla does not employ or manage.

Public comments/Blogs. If you post a review or public comment on this website, you should be aware that any Personal Data you submit there can be read, collected, or used by other users of these forums, and could be used to send you unsolicited messages. We are not responsible for the Personal Data you choose to submit in these forums.

CHANGES TO OUR PRIVACY POLICY
We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time. Any material changes we may make to this Privacy Policy document in the future will be notified and made available to you via a prominent notice on our homepage as well as updated on our privacy policy page.

Shipments

Each vendor has their own policy regarding shipping. However, Terracalla encourages vendors to dispatch shipments within 3 working days of receipt of order. Most retail prices for items sold on Terracalla include ground shipping. Extra charges will be applied for international, expedited, or special request shipping, where applicable.

 

  • Vendors will ship orders within 3 days of receipt during workdays unless the item has been specifically marked as 'custom' or ‘made-to-order’ in its description.
  • We recommend that vendors ship worldwide if possible (or all countries that are legally feasible).
  • If available, vendors will include a shipping tracking number with a tracking URL to enable their customers to monitor the delivery of their package.
  • International shipping:

    The majority of our vendors ship to most global destinations. Each vendor has their own policy regarding international shipping and if a vendor does not ship internationally their policy will outline this clearly. Generally there is an extra charge for international shipping.  In some cases international shipping is not an option.

    

Returns, Refunds and Exchanges

Each vendor has their own policy regarding returns. Specific policies for returns, refunds and exchanges are outlined in your seller's policy tab on each product page. Vendors set their own guidelines with regards to returns or refunds. However, we recommend that all vendors offer refunds if the customer requests one within seven (7) days of receipt of the item and returns the item(s) to the vendor after receiving a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA).

If a vendor does not have return policy,  Terracalla's return policy will apply.  To request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA), Customer must visit our Customer Service Center and fill out Customer Order Assistance Request Form within 7 days of receipt of goods. Refunds will be made only for items that are damaged, defective, misrepresented by the seller, or have been shipped in error.  Refunds will not be credited until products are returned to the vendor. Resolution of other return issues are at the vendor's discretion.

 

Rules of Conduct for Our Vendors

Terracalla's Global Online Marketplace works with vendors from around the world. We are proud to feature select, handcrafted arts and quality goods and services that are eco-friendly, cruelty-free, and fair-trade. We have a strict screening process by which we decide to include sellers on our site. In order to provide the best experience for both our shoppers and our vendors, we have several requirements that must be met in order to become a seller. To become a Terracalla seller, all vendors are required to read, understand and agree to the Terracalla Vendor Agreement.

Our vendors are required to conduct themselves in an honest and professional manner, and must never try to transact with customers outside of the Terracalla storefront. If you discover a vendor that does not adhere to the rules of conduct defined by this agreement, we want to know about it. If you have a complaint about a vendor, please use our Customer Order Assistance Request Form to help us address any issues.
